Comments to EN3843-160 and -120 report
1) Annex 1DT 494_”Graphique de traitement thermique”.
For the X-axis (time) and for the Y-axis (temperature) indication is missing. Temperature / Heat treatment process is not signed by Quality Authority.
2) FAIR , First Article inspection report to SAE AS 9102 has to be signed by Quality Authority. (remarks, there is also an EN 9102 available instead of AS standard)
3) Question? Are “None” of the Processes requires a “Qualified Setter/Operator?

1) Annex 1DT 494_”Graphique de traitement thermique”.
The soaking time and setting temperature are written on the document, chart is just a scheme of the curve with X-axis (time) and Y-axis (temperature), real indication are written. Temperature / Heat treatment process is signed by Mr Jean Marc VACHAL, Quality Manager, validation is digital on the document management software(named GQMS Tool) and validation is noted at the bottom ex: Issue 23.0 validated 23 september 2019 for EF / NA 0473191 report
2) FAIR , First Article inspection report to SAE AS 9102 has to be signed by Quality Authority : To record the dimensional charcateristics values we use AS9102 template, validation is done by the validation of the report. Ex: for EF / NA 0473191 report page 11, signed by Mr Jean Marc VACHAL, Quality Manager,
3) Question? Are “None” of the Processes requires a “Qualified Setter/Operator?
On Process Map , we use Technician more than Setter and operator.
