Conditions to renew qualification (ACP-006) of EN3566, EN3270, EN3248 pipe couplings under EN3079 technical specification:
• FAI: Results for Dimensional reports are presented in inches while the EN drawings call for millimeters. Please provide ASD-CERT with a statement of conformity between reported values in US domestic units and specified values in millimeter units.
• FAI: There is no drawing showing which dimension corresponds to the item number in tables. Please provide ASD-CERT with those drawings showing the corresponding item numbers with the required EN value and the result.
• Please provide ASD-CERT with evidence that there have been no manufacturing break of more than the maximum period of time indicated in EN9133 standard for each EN part number.
• Please indicate in the report which diameters of EN3566, EN3270 and EN3248 pipe couplings are concerned for this qualification renewal. The ASD-CERT manufacturing route indicates only EN3566-0605. PQ 282 shall indicate those diameters, as the qualification tests are different for each diameter.
• Please provide ASD-CERT with photos of the marking for each EN standard part. Readable marking is a request for acceptance batches as per EN3079 technical specification.
• Please provide ASD-CERT with photos of labelling and packaging of similar EN products.
