Tensile test:
Statement of Inspection and Conformity document (Annex 4) is intended for Acceptance tests.
Thus, we have 4 tensile test results, which is in line with qualification sampling.
However, tensile test sampling for Acceptance is specified by EN3685 table 8 column B or table 10.
Mfg batch size is: 5354 parts.
As per EN3685, table 8, column B, 5 parts shall be tensile tested for Acceptance.
As per EN3685, table 10, 10 parts (first sampling if everything is ok) shall be tensile tested.
Could you please clarify?
Indeed, for me, Statement of Inspection and Conformity document (Annex 4) is for Acceptance.
For example, hardness test was carried out on 20 parts in Statement of Inspection and Conformity document (Annex 4), which matches with sampling for Acceptance as per EN3685, table 8, column A.
If we look at QTR, Annex 1, we do have 4 bolts that have been hardness tested for qualification, as per EN3685, clause 5.4.3.
