Conditions for initial qualification of EN2754-080 nuts under ISO5858 technical specification:
• 3 Quality or NADCAP certificates are expired. Please provide ASD-CERT with last certificates
• Material procurement: SAM00014 and SAM0004 Howmet specifications have been used instead of EN2542 and EN2543 material specifications called in EN2754 drawing. Please provide ASD-CERT with evidence of equivalence.
• The manufacturing route shows cutting operation in HFS Casablanca. Please provide ASD-CERT with a valid EN9100 Quality certificate for HFS Casablanca.
Quality or NADCAP certificates are expired.
• Howmet Nadcap MT is updated with a new certificate, however the MT took place during the validity of the previous accreditation certificate.
• Howmet Nadcap CP has been deleted, Howmet doesn’t have a CP facility at the moment.
• At this moment there is no new certificate available for the Quality System Accreditation of PATURLE ACIERS (expire date Nov 2020) supplier of the 25CD4 material. However the material supply took place 08 Februari, 2017 (CoC date) so within the accreditation period of PATURLE ACIERS.
• The Quality Management System accreditation of HFS Casablanca (FM637162) has been added.
Material procurement: SAM00014 and SAM0004 Howmet specifications have been used instead of EN2542 and EN2543 material specifications called in EN2754 drawing.
• SAM0004 (25CD4) gives in the “Documents de Reference” a direct reference to EN2543 which is called out in the EN2754. The SAM0004 document will be added in the report (Additional Documents).
• SAM0014 (35CD4) gives in the “Documents de Reference” a direct reference to TR3791. In the material COC of the 35CD4 nr 12187 (Brown Europe) makes clear that the raw material supplier is “ASCOMETAL”. On the Ascometal CoC, no 6107200, page 2 of 2. Chapter “Informations”, point Controle US conforme there is also called out WL 1. 7220. Looking in the TR3791:01-99, Page 7 we see WL 1.7220 as a “DE” Designation origin. Ascometal is a German language related company. The temperature class of WL 1.7220 is 235 °C. Which is in the same class as 35CD4. Looking into document NFEN10132, page 7, table 1 we see as “Symbolique 34CrMo4 equals 1.7220, mentioned before. This table give als the “% en masse” looking to Brown material CoC “Analyse Chimique” you can see this is conform.
The Material CoCs for the Nut calls out not direct conformity to the EN as required by the drawing, see above. Following a review of how Howmet purchase their material and how the incoming material is inspected to make sure it conforms with the requirements of the EN material specification. it is confirmed that the material used meets the requirements and therefore acceptable.
