On QTR, deflection curves, we have both NASM1312-8 and ISO8642 called out.
Could you please confirm which one was applied?
Test bolts used for performing tensile tests are as per EN2874 (EN2874-080055 (batch n° -5933)). Could you please confirm that these bolts are EN9133 qualified?
Reusability:
Test bolts used for performing reusability test at 15 cycles are as per EN3759 (EN3759-080022R (batch n° -5797)).
Could you please confirm that these bolts are EN9133 qualified?
Same question for 5 cycle test.
Many thanks and have a good day.
Julien
Q1. On QTR, deflection curves, we have both NASM1312-8 and ISO8642 called out.
Could you please confirm which one was applied?
–>> Axial tensile test has been perfomed satisfying both specification called out (ISO8642 & NASM1312-8)
Q2. Test bolts used for performing tensile tests are as per EN2874 (EN2874-080055 (batch n° -5933)). Could you please confirm that these bolts are EN9133 qualified?
–>>Test bolts should be conform to ISO8642. None qualification is required. In these case we used standard EN bolts maufactured by approved source for this standard.
Q3. Reusability:
Test bolts used for performing reusability test at 15 cycles are as per EN3759 (EN3759-080022R (batch n° -5797)).
Could you please confirm that these bolts are EN9133 qualified?
Same question for 5 cycle test.
–>>Test bolts should be conform to ISO8642. None qualification is required. In these case we used standard bolts certified EN. I think that in this case the bolt qualification is not required (see EN3759 drawing, par. 6).
Thank you for answering.
It is clear for me now.
Best regards.
