  1. What are the sample sizes for FPI?
    What are silver plating thicknesses?
Could you please add related Process Flow Charts?

In dimensional report, material standards are in line with EN3013: EN2959 and EN3220.
However, at the top of lab test report, AMS5708 is called out. Thus, which one shall be considered?

Heat treatment has been carried out as per AMS5709.
In EN2959, a “cold” working is performed below 870°C to get strain-hardened rate from 10% to 30% and then, stabilization and precipitation heat treatments are carried out.
If I am not wrong, AMS5709 does not require any “cold” working.
Could you please clarify and provide heat treatment curves/charts?
Anyway, tensile and metallurgical tests are compliant.

    Many thanks in advance,
    Best regards.

  2. Hi Julien.

embedded in the additional documents section is the answers to your questions. i have also embedded and sealed the manufacturing route which indicates Bodycote as the HT source.

We do not have the HT curves but have provided the CoC from Bodycote confirming all the relevant information (temperatures, times and hardness)

    thanks

    Phil

  3. Hi Phil,

Many thanks for uploading all these detailed answers and additional documents.
Many thanks to Owen Bry and David Roberto from Bristol Industries for their support as well.
    Approved on my side.
    Best regards.
