  1. Conditions for renewal qualification of EN3196-120 nuts under EN3152 technical specification:
    • Several EN9100 and NADCAP certificates are expired. Please update them
    • Please provide ASD-CERT with micrographic photos of the grain size as this test is requested as “Acceptance” in technical specification EN3152.
    • There is no dimensional report as First Article Inspection of manufactured lots for “Acceptance” as per EN3152 technical specification, it only states, “conform” in the QTR. Please provide ASD-CERT with the dimensional reports showing conformity of manufactured standard parts.
    • There is no photo of the marking. Please provide ASD-CERT with one.
    • Please provide ASD-CERT with photos of the packaging and labelling for similar parts.
    • A QTS would have been useful to make the link between QTP and QTR for this qualification file as requested by ASD-CERT quality manual available on ASD-CERT website.

  2. • Several EN9100 and NADCAP certificates are expired. Please update them
The certificates have been updated and the valid ones have been listed. An exception to this is certificate 6847197748, AC7108CP, valid until 31/08/2021. At the moment PROTEC does not have a valid CP accreditation, because the surface treatment burned down on 13/05/2021. The CoC with number 511869 of this product was issued on 02/12/2020 and therefore PROTEC was still accredited by means of certificate 6847197748.

    • Please provide ASD-CERT with micrographic photos of the grain size as this test is requested as “Acceptance” in technical specification EN3152.

See for the photo’s the “Additional Documents of this report.

Grain size was evaluated between 6 and 7.

The (TR) Test Report OF: 14308290 of the EN2647-050 indicates that it concerns a lot of 750 manufactured products. (see TR, page 1/4).
ISO5858 clause 5.5.1. “General dimensions” indicates that for production acceptance a sample size must be taken in accordance with Tables 11 and 12. The sample size to be used here according to Table 12 is 80 pieces for the 750 products. The block related to the “Dimensional” indicates that this has happened and at the same time that the result is compliant.
Quality Letter no incident EN3196-120, 2020-09-21, in the Additional Documents also states that there have been no customer complaints in the past, which clearly indicates that the product meets the requirements.

    • There is no photo of the marking. Please provide ASD-CERT with one.

See for the photo’s the “Additional Documents” of this report.

The TR defined all the tests performed and their conformity. ”

This answer is also added to the “Additional Documents”, because it is not possible to add photo’s here.

  3. The (TR) Test Report OF: 14145265 of the EN3196-120 indicates that it concerns a lot of 2.110 manufactured products. (see TR, page 1/4).
The sample size to be used here is 125 pieces for the 2.110 products. The block related to the “Dimensional” indicates that this has happened and at the same time that the result is compliant to specification EN3152.

  4. There is a wrong paragraph in the above (first replay of me) about the dimensions.
Request that these be regarded as unwritten. The correct paragraph is just above.

    Sorry for this error.
