Title of qualification 889 on ASD-CERT website is: « 889 – Howmet Fixations Simmonds – St Cosme en Vairais (FR) JSR10009M (Diameter 3/4 & 6)
Qualification 889 only deals with diameter 4, so, could you please delete 3 and 6?
QTR states that EN4084 edition P1 dated 1993 has been considered. Nevertheless, at that time, the latest version of EN4084 is EN4084:2010.
Could you please clarify? Is there any major differences on characteristics, performances between these both editions of EN4084?
Same comment on PFC which mentions EN4084 standard issue dated 30/06/1993.
What is the sampling size carried out for surface roughness in QTR? In QTP, 5 parts shall be inspected as specified in ISO5858, clause 5.3.2.
In QTR, section 5.1, there are no dimension results for V dimension (rivet holes) if I am not mistaken.

Please find below the conditions answered by HFS St Cosme Simmonds:
– Title : updated accordingly with only diameter 040.
-EN4084 edition P1 dated 1993 :
• The revision of EN4084 dated June 2010 has no impact on the qualification of the parts because the only changes are :
o replacement of EN2000 and EN3042 by EN9100 and EN 9133
o increase tolerance on the dimension S . It was 2xS 0/+0.2 becomes 2xS 0/+0.4
-PFC which mentions EN4084 iss 1993: => PFC has been updated with EN4084 iss 06/2010
-the sampling size carried out for surface roughness => QTR has been updated – sampling = 5
-no dimension results for V dimension (rivet holes) => Not applicable because the nut has not countersunk rivet holes
Can you please have a look and review if you agree with these answers and updates ?

– Replacement of prEN4084 edition P1 dated 1993 by EN4084 dated June 2010. The revision of EN4084 dated June 2010 has no impact on the qualification of the parts because the only changes are :

– Sampling of surface roughness corrected : 5 samples as in the QTP
– Dimension V : Not applicable because the nut has not countersunk rivet holes
