According 17/1O/2023 meeting with André Lepers, we agreed to update QTP, in order to clarify why group 3 is not achieved and to launch NWP in order to clarify EN2997-001 Requalification for hermetic class.
– QTP updated is uploaded
– NWP will be launch as soon as possible by Conesys teams

Hello,
In standard EN2997-001 chapter 8.3 table 18 it is not easy to understand what must be done or not on hermetic connector classes Y and YE. In fact, it is necessary to refer table 17 which is done for initial qualification. To improve understanding and prevent any misunderstanding I recommend an update of table 18 of standard EN2997-001.
Table 18 group 3-All classes request to perform sinusoidal and random vibration. If I am not wrong, these tests have not be performed. Please could you confirm and explain?

We speaking about receptacle only.
Test séquence for EN2997 maintenance of qualification seems clear clear vibration ( group 3 ) are not applicable for YE and Y RECEPTACLE ( -005, 006 and 007)
In addition and after check , all hermetic requalifications were carried out like that.
However you are right the wording used to name group 3 is incorrect or could be improve.

Thank you for your answer. As mentioned by Christelle it is really difficult to understand which M/PN are covered by this renewal.
If I take as example PQ 919 it is clearly mentioned:
For vibration test, you have mentioned:

Please, could you forward to me an extract of the standard where this is mentioned because I try to find this information without any success.
