  1. Tension Fatigue Tests on EN3740-060/080 and EN3820C080 should be done.
    Drilled shank bolts in 5.4.3 of ISO9152 implies hollow shanks (as in EN3740-150).
    Split pin holes do not prevent tensile fatigue test requirement.

  2. Concerning your remark, we do not make the same interpretation of the ISO 9152 standard. Indeed, the term “drilled shank bolts” is a good reference, for us, to screws with pinholes. From our point of view, the fatigue test is not to be done. To justify our interpretation, we rely on what other equivalent standards require, such as NAS 4004 for example (reference standard for American TA6V titanium hardware). On this standard, note 3 (p10) excludes screws with a “pinhole” type drilling (see figure below). The exclusion of the fatigue test for pinhole screws is very common in the technical specifications of titanium screws.
