Hardness requirement is from 260 to 360 HV.
It seems that it is linked to 900/1100 MPa strength class. Could you please confirm?
Minimum grain size requirement seems to be G greater or equal to 4 and isolated grains not exceeding a mean diameter of 0,23 mm are acceptable, as per TS n°8 edition 10.
As per EN3004 (and EN3299, prEN4444), minimum grain size requirement is G greater or equal to 5 and isolated grains not exceeding a mean diameter of 0,23 mm are acceptable.
So, where does requirement G greater or equal to 4 come from?
However, determined grain sizes are compliant.

Hardness requirement between 260 and 360 HV comes from TS8 (1100MPa mini).
About Grain size , requirement comes from TS8.

For average grain size, TS8 requires G greater or equal to 4.
How do you manage this requirement in the case of manufacturing nuts which have EN3004 (and EN3299, prEN4444) technical specifications? (with G greater or equal to 5)

In case of a requirement, for example , manufacturing nuts which have EN3004 technical specification, we inspect the part against G greater or equal to 5 requirement. Each batch is check against it own specification. In this case , the result is according with both spec.
