Dear all,
Here, EN2874 bolts have undergone electrolytic polishing on their heads (except bearing surface) since we have “P” code at the end of bolt reference.
Initial qualification (669) dealt with EN2874 without electrolytic polishing on heads.
However, all tests were carried out (mechanical tests except double shear test since bolt reference is too short, but electrolytic polishing only apply on bolt head, non-destructive tests) on EN2874 bolts with “P” code.
So, approved from my side.
