  1. PFC: the latest issue of EN3435 is EN 3435:2010
QTR: the latest issue of EN3435 is EN 3435:2010
Which issue has been applied for this qualification? Normally, EN 3435:2010 should have been used.

Passivation has been carried out as per EN2516:1997.
In 2020, NF EN 2516:2020 was released in January 2020. According to manufacturing dates mentioned in several test reports, this edition might not be applicable at that time. Could you please confirm?

    Many thanks in advance,
    Best regards.

    1. Dear Julien,
Please find below the feedback from Howmet St-Cosme concerning the NAR n°1037 EN3435-040.
      – EN 3435 has effectively evolved in 2010 without impact as the change is to replace EN3042 with EN9100 and EN9133. The QTR has been updated and the index of this standard has been modified.=> see enclosed

      – Passivation
The batch was passivated on 29/1/20 (see attached certificate) and a copy of our ERP (batch received at 31 :01/21 20) so no the new edition of EN2516 was not applied to this batch.
? No impact on the QTR and the Flow chart

      I agree with this feedback.
Please let me know if this meets the requirements.

      Have a nice day,
