  1. Conditions to qualify EN3327-080009 bolts against technical specification EN2583 :
    • One dimension appears to be out of tolerance in “manual witness inspection bolt” file for tail chamfer diameter (5,67 mm measured vs 5,7 mm minimum required), the report even though states “conform”. Please provide ASD-CERT with explanations. Maybe this is in the additional “questions-answers” file posted by Phil Edwards on the site.
    • 2 hours Salt spray test, it only states “conform to specification”. It does not state if there was no corrosion, which is the expected result for this test. Please state it. If a photo showing the result is available, could you add it?
    • No manufacturing route is shown signed and stamped by the MBR auditor. Please provide ASD-CERT with it.

  2. Conditions raised, please see pdf file “Questions and answers for Arconics qual” attached.
Conditions met after ARCONIC’s reply on the same pdf file “Questions and answers for Arconics qual”.
Pdf file “Questions and answers for Arconics qual” sent on Thursday December 19th 2019.

This is a typo in the report.
We have checked the balance of parts we have on hand and found this feature to be conforming.

Robert Stuart carry out the salt spray test, and would not certify it as “conform to specification” if there was any sign of corrosion. In addition the tested parts are returned to us and visually inspected. The bolts are not retained in order to prevent any possibility of them mixing with the main batch so there is no photograph available.
