I have a few comments to address after review:
– No NADCAP for materials testing – Presume accepted methods/supplier laboratory under review per original qualification?
– Packaging has no reference to EN3049 from what i can see? Also unlimited shelf life is in French only is this acceptable per French version of EN?
– Query on test data for material EN2798 – Temperature Retraction Test says -12 max but the result is -17, is this indicating the requirement is met/exceeded?
-No supplier declaration of the amount produced and customer returns, would expect evidence to back up
The manufacturer has responded to these comments as follows:
Nadcap for Materials Testing – This was not required in the original qualification and is not a requirement of their customer.
Packaging has no reference to EN3049 – The information on the label is defined according to NFL17102 and specific customer requirements. The reference of EN3049 is not a requirement.
Shelf life in French only – It depends on the customers. Some of them require French language and others English language.
Test data – Result of -17 exceeds the requirement for -12
Delivery and complaint information – List of deliveries now added to the report and the one closed out customer complaint is also now added to the report.
I am happy with the answers/information provided apart from the response to the packaging.
Could the manufacturer provide an example of the packaging label they would provide to comply with the requirements of EN3049?
An example of a packaging label for an EN3049 part number O ring has now been added to the report and referenced in the Qualification Test Report section.
