Even though surface discontinuities check is not mandatory for Acceptance, ISO5858 should specify this one for Release (as per ISO2859-1, AQL=0.065%, table 2-A).
In addition, according to manufacturing route, magnetoscopic test was carried out after cadmium plating (since relevant thickness is in line with ASTM E1417), which is a good point.
Not blocking, just a remark about ISO585 requirement on external defects.
