In PFC, could you please replace diameter 026 by 024?
In QTP, we have “IT MEANS EN3299 : 2007”. However, technical specification issue is dated December 2018 in PFC and dated July 2019 in QTR, on first page (but, in clause “List of standards and their issue used for qualification”, EN3299:2007 is mentioned). Could you please clarify?
Hardness test: we have two values just above the maximum limit (which is 37 HRC): 37,1 HRC and 37,2 HRC. This gap is not really significant, but do we have an explanation?
On marking pictures, it seems there are some scratches and matting areas. Is it really the case or not?
Many thanks in advance,
Best regards.
Dear Julien,
– PFC => updated according to your remark
– EN3299 issue on PFC and QTP => updated according to your remark
I’m waiting for Howmet feedback for the 2 others conditions.
S.Garcia
Dear Julien,
-Hardness test: The hardness was made in HV ( see the footprint of the hardness on the picture enclosed file “ 24BCR”). The discrepancy comes from the conversion of HV hardness in HRC hardness . EN 3299 annex C1 says that “In the event of dispute, the Vickers method shall be used.”
-Scratches & matting areas: Howmet Saint-Cosme says it is not the case, that is due to the quality of the picture ( see pictures enclosed files “024, 4399; EN; SD”).
Thank you in advance for your treatment,
S.Garcia
Dear Sébastien,
Thank you for your detailed answers and many thanks to HFS Saint Cosme en Vairais as well.
All is clear for me now, so approved.
Best regards.
