Conditions for initial qualification (ACP-003) of EN3712-050 nuts under ISO5858 technical specification:
• Several QMS and NADCAP certificates have expired for submission to Technical committee; please provide ASD-CERT with updates. Accepted for the batch of parts manufactured with surface treatment shop before fire event at Saint Cosmes and covered by the appropriate NADCAP certificate expired in 2020. However a valid NADCAP certificate and an ACP-008 MCR are necessary to cover any new batch of those EN3712-050 nuts. Please make a statement that no subsequent batches have been manufactured without ACP-008 MCR after Surface Treatment shop fire.
• A statement that all EN material specifications called in EN3712 product standard are fulfilled. Seems to be taken into account within SAM0004 specifications but to be confirmed.
• The QTR shows tests for a captive washer with micrographic cuts. Please confirm that there is no captive washer for this nut.
• Please provide ASD-CERT with a photo of the packaging of the nuts.

* Howmet St Cosme confirms that no subsequent batches have been manufactured without an ACP008 qualification. The new batch in process will be finished in the next weeks and of course Howmet St Cosme will submit an ACP008 qualification.

* Howmet St Cosme agrees there is no captive washer on the nut . It was a typo. Howmet St Cosme has updated the QTR (NO8493C).
Please provide ASD-CERT with a photo of the packaging of the nuts.
* Howmet St Cosme cannot include a photo of the packaging because packaging is made when the parts are package for deliver the customer. Howmet St Cosme puts the parts in a plastic bag with the label included in the QTR (page 44 of 46).
