  1. In « Standards issue » section on ASD-CERT website, TR3791 is mentioned. Is it TR3775 instead?

In test report OF:2097367, tensile tests were carried out on bolts whereas in QTR, tensile tests were carried out on test specimens (subcontracted to DICKSON’s lab).
In both QTR and test report, double shear tests were carried out on test specimens due to the fact that EN4130-050006 bolt is too short.
NOTE: ISO9152 does not specify any possibility to perform double shear test on test specimens when bolts are too small in diameter or too short in grip length.
In test report OF:2097367, both tensile and fatigue tests were carried out on bolts even if they are too short. Hopefully, results are compliant.
For these reasons, are we sure that this qualification is intended to qualify full length range (from 003 to 050)?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Best regards.

    1. Dear Julien,
      Please find below my comments:

In « Standards issue » section on ASD-CERT website, TR3791 is mentioned. Is it TR3775 instead? => Updated
In test report OF:2097367, tensile tests were carried out on bolts whereas in QTR, tensile tests were carried out on test specimens (subcontracted to DICKSON’s lab). => During audit, tensile tests were performed on parts with success.
In both QTR and test report, double shear tests were carried out on test specimens due to the fact that EN4130-050006 bolt is too short. => During audit, double shear tests were performed on machined parts with success.
=> As tests specimens in QTR were performed with success, and as tests during audit were performed on parts with success, I recommend to qualify full length range (from 003 to 050).

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

      Have a nice day,
