Conditions to qualify EN2865-050 under technical specification ISO5858 :
• Please provide a statement that material specification SAM0049/L is equivalent to material specification called in the EN product standard.
• Roughness after surface treatment. No result indicated. Please provide result.
• Please provide ASD-CERT with a photo of the marking.
• Nothing is mentioned concerning corrosion after this change of surface treatment sources. Please provide ASD-CERT with results for this heat resisting steel nut.
• NADCAP certificate for material testing needs to be updated.

We’ve just received the additional information for Material specification:
The parts are made out of Heat Resisting Alloy FE-PA2601 supplied with CARPENTER according to Material specification SAM0049 (ARCONIC Simmonds). For the equivalence between AMS5525 and the material specifications called into EN2865 (EN3639 & EN2399 & EN3638), please refer to Material specification TR3791. See enclosed.
We’re still waiting for other additional information from HFS SCO Simmonds.
A photo of the marking has been added on category “additional documents”.
As regards this point : Roughness after surface treatment. No result indicated. Please provide result : There is no requirements, not applicable in the standard.
Corrosion : not required in ISO 5855 See note b : “Inspections applicable only to nuts made of steel or steel alloy”
