  1. It is not clear how the list of products captured under this audit is managed by this change request.
Does the NADCAP cert 16071191831 cover Silver Plating i.e. how is this explained?
    How many samples tested?
No test evidence submitted in the report.
Were the samples examined for; Materials-purity, Dim’s & Mass, Coating Appearance, Thickness & Adhesion?
The coating thickness shall be 3-6µm measured at the pitch diameter but the report states “about 6µm”. LISI need to confirm actual measurements & not an approximation.
A LAIR comparison to FAIR will indicate process variation. Suggest LAIR & FAIR added for evidence.
No manufacturing route details (This is a fundamental part of the MCR). What evidence of change is recorded for the new manufacturing route document? Has the new route been walked & sealed?
Is a notification process in place for the batch testing of other parts via the new route, to ensure the new plating facility has no impact on other parts?

Note to ASD-CERT i.e. not a condition- According to the OQF, the request for this MCR only requires a single approver (note, I disagree with single approver method & recommend a second approver should be included in accordance with all other reviews to ‘further check & encourage consistency but have conducted my review irrespective).

    1. The tests to be carried out are those of the ASD Cert Report 482 agreement.
      Attached is the NADCAP certificate
The thickness on the report is an average thickness and not an approximate one.
For the LAIR and FAIR these two reports are not required in the ASD CERT 482 report
Manufacturing route is not requested in ASD Cert 482.
It is not a change of process but a change of place.

The process has been validated internally and PRI NADCAP.
Today I did equivalent tests and all of them comply
